Items Requiring Special Attention

Items Requiring Special Consideration should not be placed in the bin. However, we can handle the disposal separately. Kindly inform us in advance if you wish to dispose of any of the following.

Spring mattresses

Tyres – extra charges are applicable

LPG / Gas Bottles / $15 per tyre

Polystyrene (excluding commercial product packaging)

Empty Paint Containers – it is advised to pour all surplus paint into one can and then dispose of the empty containers only

Batteries, including vehicle batteries – while we can accept batteries, please refrain from placing them in the bin. Due to the nature of battery acid, these must be handled separately.
